Workshop Information

We welcome you to this new Artist Workshop Retreat in the beautiful island of Madeira Portugal. It is located in the Atlantic Ocean (about 600 miles southwest of the Portuguese mainland). Madeira is a lush volcanic tropical island with a rich history, and landscapes that are second to none! Due to its topography and unique microclimates, the island has a wide range of subject matter for artists to explore and paint.

Artist Kimball Geisler, along with his wife Raquel have spent the last two years traveling to Madeira and getting to know the island intimately. Through the time they have spent there, they have come to understand the workings of the island and have created this exciting itinerary for artists to get to experience a place like no other. We hope you’ll join us as we create memories in a place unlike any other.
